Where we started…
Victory Learning Centre began in 2021 out of a simple desire to give children who had nowhere else to go the gift of learning. With the support of Victory Churches International, a small team of teachers and volunteers opened the doors to what would become a place of care, growth and belonging.
Since then, more than seventy five children have called Victory Learning Centre their school. Some have moved on to new opportunities, while new faces continue to join our classrooms each year. Most of our students are refugees from Myanmar, and each carries a story of courage, resilience and hope.
Who we are…
We are a community of teachers, volunteers and supporters who believe that education can transform lives. Our school is English taught and officially recognised by the United Nations under their Refugee Malaysia learning centres. We welcome children from all faiths and backgrounds, creating an environment of respect, understanding and encouragement.
At Victory Learning Centre, we provide daily classes, nutritious meals and a safe space for children to learn and grow. Our curriculum builds not only knowledge but confidence and character. We want our students to know they are seen, valued and capable of shaping a better future for themselves and their communities.
We continue…
Our work is sustained entirely through donations, volunteer support and the generosity of those who believe in the power of education and compassion. Each gift of time, skill or resource helps us keep the doors open and the classrooms full.
Our heart…
We believe every child is created with value and purpose. Education allows that truth to take root and flourish. When a child learns, dreams and discovers their potential, it is not only their life that changes but the life of everyone around them.
